This hotel is a little hard to find, so be sure to use your GPS unit. The staff is friendly, informative about the area, and efficient. The lobby was spacious & clean, as was our room. Be prepared, the a/c - heating unit is an old under the window unit. Hard to adjust to a comfortable temperature.
First time I stayed, it was awesome. Now a new front desk clerk, he changed my reservation from a king suite to a double queen. Put me next to the ice machine. And, there was constant noise in the walls (creepy). I am a diamond member that was treated horribly, indirectly. plan to report!
Good hotel. They have cookies and chili/soup in the evenings. This hotel wasn't well taken care of a few years ago, but is better now. A/C units could use a good clean, and sometimes make the room smell rather mildewy. Good restaurant selection less than 5 miles down interstate.
Nice rooms, breakfast fair, do serve dinner on certain days, that was a surprise. Have fresh cookies also. Staff friendly.
We spent two days in the area. That means two nights. Two nights either I or my wife slept. Aliitle here, a little there. The mattresses are hard as a concrete floor. The manager, even had the mattress chaned out. Just not comfortable at all. The staff is excellent and the rooms clean.
We'd given 5 stars, if we would of be able to sleep.
